What should I expect during my first visit?

Depending on your condition, an initial visit could take anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. After examining information supplied to us, we will obtain a detailed history and perform via a skin examination. Occasionally, a biopsy may be necessary to aid in our diagnosis. This will help in creating a treatment plan. We encourage you to ask questions, and we will be glad to address any concerns you may have.

Do I need a referral to see a dermatologist?

According to the type of insurance referrals you may not need a referral.  If you would like to have a consultation, simply contact us and we will schedule a convenient appointment time for you. Please note, however, that insurance policies may vary and a referral may be necessary for insurance to cover some forms of treatment. If you have questions on what is covered, you should contact your insurance company directly.

What can I do to improve the look of my skin?

There are many ways to help improve the appearance of your skin.
